Ye...protestors or not you gotta slow down when you see cars stopped in the middle of the highway like that
I guess you've missed all the videos of innocent people being dragged out of their vehicles and savagely beaten by the "peaceful protesters" because they slowed down or stopped?
Google Reginald Denny and see if you can track him down and ask what he thinks about stopping for protestors.

LINK to her live stream as she gets hit. GRAPHIC-ish
From the time someone hollered "Car, car" to when she was hit, she had nine seconds to GTFOOTW. I guess she incorrectly assumed she > car. As was noted before, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

If the guy went up the ramp the wrong way, he intentionally ran people over.
If this is true, then the guy who ran them over is clearly wrong. It would mean he tried to murder people, and he deserves to go to jail.
Know who else is also wrong? The people blocking the damn interstate. Both parties can be wrong here.

I bet she was thinking “This ain’t my day! This ain’t my day!”

What I can gather, the city/state shuts down I5 for protest each night. Driver bypassed the barricades. This has been going on for at least a month.

What sucks now is those useless fricks are probably going to sue the city for "letting this happen", because the police "should have been there protecting their right to protest".
The police have been fired, there are no police.

Nah. That ain't how it works when there are no police, lights, or barricades in the video.

Well, you didn't watch the video. You can clearly see one on ramp blocked. Also, you can see police lights reflecting on the building in the background.

The driver was black so we can go ahead and disregard this little misunderstanding

I am not siding with anyone. Just trying to add width and depth to the convo. It is bad leadership is "close" a freeway for protesting. The city and police are opening up liability. The city doesn't help themselves out at times.

Are there laws about staying in your lane and operating your vehicle in a safe manner?
Yes there are.
If you see two vehicles stopped black the road you STOP.
You don’t swerve around them.

Oh. Okay. Then, you're still confused. This is just an example of police not doing or not being allowed to do their job. A useless Democrat mayor searching endlessly for the summer of love allowed this to happen.
Illegal protesters who block public roadways are criminals, not protesters. It seems the guy who hit them was just doing his city and community a favor by doing what the police and shite-for-brains-mayor couldn't or wouldn't do.

These people have been protesting, rioting, vandalizing, shutting down roads, strutting around like peacocks, and even they have been violent to innocents. All in the name of civil unrest. They don't give a care about us, so why should we give a care about them?
People are beyond tired of their shite. You're going to see more of this type stuff happen in retaliation. I'm personally glad. Give them a dose of their own medicine that they've been dishing out for the past month. You want civil unrest? You got it. Now all of a sudden the pretend civil unrest act goes out the window and they want to go back to normal and get police involved. It don't work that way. You either get one life, or you get the other.
