The media was on him 24/7. He said he dyed it to hopefully allow him some privacy if I remember correctly. The money he had on him was to pay his sister back for something and the golf course he was going to was in San Diego which is 20 min from the border. He wasn’t trying to flee

Pretty coincidental to have all of those things line up to make it appear he was fleeing. Kind of like how coincidental it was that the 2 bodies just happened to be found near where he went fishing

After watching this documentary, I have serious questions about the case.

That's what documentaries are designed to do to get views. Cases get mishandled all the time. Some of the perps are still guilty af even with bad procedures see O.J.

Is it just me, or does it seem like at least 90% of the people who the Innocence Project defends are actually guilty?

Bodies are found in the SF bay all the time. It’s not a secret dumping ground and it was 4 months later. Why wouldn’t a guilty person just lie and say he was further away from where he actually was just to cover their tracks? If you are using the fishing trip as a cover it doesn’t make sense to admit that’s where you were if you know there’s a possibility of the bodies being found close to that

Well they have exonerated a lot of people so unlikely. They turn down tons of cases they know they can’t win

Because that's where he actually was. Maybe he didn't lie because he thought someone could have seen him and fishing would be a plausible reason to be there; it's easier to keep track of as few lies as possible. He didn't think the bodies would be found most likely.

He has the worst luck of all time if all of these things are truly just coincidental and he's innocent.

So he’s worried about someone seeing him fishing but not moving a dead body from two different locations? Look he may be guilty but if he is he did a damn good job of covering his tracks as far as DNA, fingerprints etc. goes.

Probably why he initially told a few people he was golfing and not boating before that lie kind of fell through
