All this does is give them an excuse for the men impregnating a bunch of women and not being around to father any of the kids.

This is already a thing in many poverty stricken hoods all across America. In these neighborhoods the nuclear family is almost non-existent. The streets, aka their "village" raises them. The "elders" of said "village", teach kids by the time they're a pre-teen how to do things such as sell drugs, rob stores/people, and how to shoot people, etc. In these "villages", a lot more negative is taught rather than positive.
So I'll pass, give me the Western Nuclear family anyday.
