That’s every morning for anyone living in a city. I’ve seen more rats and wild eyed homeless people than I ever wanted to in my life. It’s the people who I hear talking solo out loud like they’re using earbuds that frighten me. After a while you figure out they aren’t talking to anyone at all.

In Barcelona, my then 8 year old son asked me why the lady in the doorway pooped herself. A junkie passed out in a doorway, no panties, and shite herself. It was one hell of a way to make the "drugs are bad" point on the way to lunch.

There are different shanti towns under the Pontchartrain Expressway at every intersection from Loyola to Tchoup, each with its own distinct characteristics and population

I wonder if they have their own little names for the areas?
The BBQ set ups and couches etc make it look like a good time for some of those folks.
And they guy who also runs his own little bike repair "show" down under I-10 is pretty impressive too.

There was a guy who overdosed in the middle of a dark road on the coast. My ex nearly ran him over. She called the cops and they wouldn’t let her leave until they knew she hadn’t hit him. It’s everywhere.
