There's no way they will pull this off without federal money to do it.

Which will be hidden in some random bill, if it hasn’t been included in one already.

There will be some really nice houses, boats and cars available at foreclosure rates in about a year or two.

If I were a citizen of SF or California, I'd DEMAND a comprehensive list of each "systematic repression and exclusion of black people" that were "codified through legal and extralegal actions, social codes, and judicial enforcement ". Then, I would demand a comprehensive list of examples that would reconcile all of these accusations with specific examples with evidence to support such claims.

frick ALL of that entire recommendation by that committee. If they let that ball get rolling there, it won't be long until it rolls to your community and rolls right over your bank account in the form of some race tax. They can all get fricked.

Imagine doing this in Louisiana or MS.

Housing, car and liquor store sales would skyrocket.

But pretty much all fast food, retail stores, etc would lose their labor force overnight

Like a ID card?
How racist of SF to insist this. I thought the whole idea of requiring ID to vote is racist to blacks that don't know how to obtain an ID.

Reparations should be in land, not money.

Should have stripped land from slaveowners in 1865 and given that land to slaves.

I think if there ever were reparations, that'd be more plausible than paying people, so long as it's land not already owned.

Paying reparations in fiat would probably collapse our financial system.

I used to say that if the time ever came where I owed reparations (through taxes or otherwise), that would be the time I'd begin preparing to leave the country.

Guess I better dust off my luggage.
