OSTiger, I’m near the country store. Katrina had 20’ surge at the beach there. I had 5 feet of water. I’m 12 feet ASL. So I’m thinking anything less than 15’ and we are safe. Now getting out is another story.

I'm in Fairhope and it looks like this thing has steadily started moving straight to us over the last day or two

How much is she wanting in alimony and child support? Determines the answer.

Some signs that mid-level shear is pushing back a bit. Seeing a bit of degradation in the overall appearance. How long will that last?

I don't know if it's that or if this is just it wrapping up. The blob has faded but we're getting another hot tower going up near the LLC and a good banding feature rolling in that tail on the S pulling in W to E and being pulled around.

Boyoubengals gif is lies? I'm only responding to it showing a more southern track, which would not be good for Nola. Nola is still in the cone of error, isn't it?

Apparently the HRRR which only extends six hours is only good for thunderstorms and winter weather.

Anywhere in the cone will see impacts. Drastic shifts shouldn't be expected at this point, as the NHC has it pretty much nailed down, much like with Laura, despite what some will argue. You're just not likely to see drastic shifts one way or the other at this point. However, inside of that cone, you should expect and prepare for impacts.

Good to know. I'm in the greater P'cola area so I expect we'll get a lot of wind and rain (and more rain and more rain) but I don't think we will need to board up the windows here.

People...

When "freddytiger778395" says the storm is heading your way, please ignore it and refer back to the first post for the official NHC track.

Just flipped it over to TWC. They would sell their souls to get this thing into NOLA. Only 6 reporters there.
