So it’s upgraded to a Cat 1 8 hours earlier than expected.

Is Cat 2 back on the table now? Or should it stay as a 1?

Will a stronger storm make the turn to the north sooner?

off topic...

took some damage pics from my workplace in Pineville from Laura... and am right now working on a story about 1 of our teams helping out with clean-up that should be posted in a couple hours

ETA: as you can see... ground rule doubles are easier now to right-center

and runs in innings 1-6 don't count

Bruh, Cat 3 is on the table now, with Cat 2 as the expectation.

We got out of there Saturday. If it's coming towards us, they get us out. We've stayed through depressions and weak tropical storms. But something taking direct aim at us, we buckle her down and roll out.

I'm watching her remotely.

Seems like it’s wanting to swing East and hard after landfall.

One of the things I hate about our media...

11 am... "Hurricane Sally has formed"

No, dipshit... we have had Sally for a while... it was upgraded to a hurricane now. It's not like this storm just came up 10 minutes ago.

They did this when Laura became a cane, and are doing it now for Sally.

She is getting her act together in a hurry. Earlier in the thread it was mentioned a stronger storm would likely trend more eastward.. if so, good luck Mississippi & Alabama

I don't wish this on anyone but I really don't want to take a direct hit (in Ocean Springs). Sorry to my eastern neighbors but damn I hope this thing starts that north and then northeast hook sooner than expected!

Three-inning games and every pitch must be a strike. I foresee a lot of low-scoring games.

The problem is they are on air 24 hours a day during approaching hurricanes and they repeat themselves over and over and over. They try and change it up and misspeak sometimes.
