Howie didn’t do anything wrong at all. I can kinda see if you have a problem with Blaine’s tactics, but then again, I’m not out there dealing with these animals everyday

Lol at everyone claiming he should have waited for backup.
What is backup gonna do? He’s already not complying with 2 officers and a fricking gun to his head.
We’re they supposed to call dispatch and say, “um, this guy isn’t listening to us, can someone else come help us”?

I wish they released the videos before from start to finish instead of the middle of it. Seems like Lake had it under control until Salamoni came causing chaos. Sterling was in the wrong for not complying from the get go and Salamoni was in the wrong for how he handled the situation from the moment he got there. I am a big supporter of the police department but cops who acted the way he did and others who are in the wrong should not be police officers. The way Salamoni acted was somebody abusing his power with a badge and gun. He could have put officer Lake in a very bad situation. Police chief did the right thing of firing him and I didn't see anything wrong with officer Lake did. He probably got 3 day suspension so the police chief can see he gave him some type of punishment. This was just a lose lose situation on both sides.

I can see why he was terminated. At the same time I’m not going to Monday morning quarterback someone who has to detain an armed 300 lb person. Sterling clearly played a part in the what happened. Tough spot. Wonder if Dabadie terminates him? Or LeDuff.

This is random, but does anybody remember a video/thread posted on here a few months back of police responding to a call at this guy's house? It was body cam footage and the cop just handled the situation so calmly and professionally. He ended up shooting the guy because he had a rifle (I think), but it was just such a stark contrast to the videos just released.
If anybody has the video I'm talking about, can I get a link?

the real tragedy in all of this as a poster stated earlier is that officers from Dallas and Baton Rouge lost their lives. And in my opinion Salamoni is partly responsible
