Because this is a very active and ongoing investigation we cannot comment further at this time.

I can remember when I would tell an officer whenever a question was asked that "because it was an active and ongoing investigation I could not comment at this time."

Yea, how dare a law enforcement agency delay giving full details until the officer’s family can be properly notified and brought to the hospital.

RIP Drew, you’ll be missed

His daughter played sports with mine. Such a shame to leave behind his two kids. He loved the shite out of his dog too. He was always telling stories about work to anybody who would listen. If his stories were even 50% true (and I'm sure they were) he lived an incredibly dangerous life. Not your every day police work. He was chasing the scummiest of the scum, all over the state, daily. He seemed to love his job. His wife is in the same line of work as well. My heart shatters for them.

From the article…

quote:

Multiple neighbors said they know the suspect, who they said lives a few houses from the scene. The neighbor who asked not to be identified said she did not expect the incident. “He was a good man. You know? He was always in good spirits. You know? So definitely didn’t expect this,” she said. (KALB)

Means also said he knows the suspect. “I actually gave him a ride over to Popeye’s one day, and he spoke a lot of life into me. He was a good dude. He had a lot of wisdom on him. You never would have expected something like this,” Means said.

And just like clockwork the black community is a caricature of itself. Two frickin dindu nuffin comments.

NO. He was not a good man. He was a fricking piece of shite. How can they not tell that he was a piece of shite?!

What in the hell is wrong with these people?

I’m so sick of it.

An actual great man is now dead because of some two bit piece of shite that has contributed nothing to society and is still alive.

The only way we get out of this as a society is to ramp up the harshness on that society.

Cut section 8 funding immediately. Cut SNAP. Expedite death row sentences to make room for alot more.

Too many good, innocent people are leaving this world at the hands of these evil pieces of shite.

My heart is hurting. The federal marshal was one of my closest friends. He was from Indianola, Ms we both graduated indianola academy and played football together. No telling how many beers we drank together back in the day

He was a true American patriot. He was a bull rider in rodeos, middle linebacker in football, border patrol agent and then a federal marshal. All around hilarious and nice guy. Big personality, could pick whatever woman he wanted back in the day. He lived life for adrenaline rush, not an ounce of fear in him. He was a great dad and family man.

RIP Drew, you’ll be missed.

This is a sad situation. Sorry for your loss and for his family’s loss.

So sorry to hear this. Prayers sent up for his family. I have relatives who have been or currently are federal agents. This hits home hard and makes you realize what danger our LEO’s face these days.

His task force was one of the most dangerous. They went after the worst of the worst

That was his dream though and what he always wanted to do. Great guy, the news hit the delta area hard. Everyone liked him. Even though he moved away and started a family he was one of the few who never forgot his friends and always reached out to catch up

He was what every American man should aspire to be. A Patriot, family man, friendly, and fearless and willing to risk it all for what’s right. He wasn’t judgemental in the least, he had close friends of many different backgrounds it didn’t matter to him where you came from, your political beliefs or personal interests he got along with everyone. He lived life to the fullest in his tragically short life than most people ever will.

I sincerely hope the rest of Drew’s team made sure that POS “fell down the stairs” when they brought him in

What sucks even worse is that this story will be swept under the rug ASAP, after progressive media gives a glowing profile of the killer for doing the work they want done.

Another great human dies at the hands of criminal trash that should have been in jail.
