US Marshals track down the worst of the worse violent offenders daily.
They also have Task Forces where local police and deputies are paid locally but work with the US Marshals. You would be surprised by how many local criminals are tracked down and arrested by US Marshals daily. They will follow out of state to capture them.

Yes. It’s the bulk of their job at the local level. They work very closely with local anti-crime task forces

My point was the sentence just thrown out there giving people an idea that maybe the cop broke some law... It's obvious the shooter broke the law.. and if the sentence is pointed at the shooter it is as useless as tits on a bull...
