I stopped by Reddit to see the reactions - lol
I have no real take on this cover (it's probably not great), I just think it's amazing to watch the same people who celebrate any other freakishness and fetish as something sacrosanct and make "don't kink shame" a guiding tenet of their lives go on to post long diatribes about how she's promoting subservience by women and sexualizing herself.

I mean you can't listen to the radio 20 minutes without hearing two of her songs unless you only listen to AM.
Pretty damn popular. Did snl a few times. In tv a lot. Was on the revival of Boy Meets World. Most under 45 know who she is.
