I'm not going to rip on the guy, but I'll just say that Archie has been really good at cultivating a persona.

He was extremely nice to me and signed my small plastic football that had logos for the other high school when Cooper was getting beat by them.

I was a kid though and had no idea about his son, just wanted to meet Archie. This was in 1990.

Not cool: Tim McGraw, Faith Hill

I have a friend who met Faith Hill in a store and she said the same thing. Very unfriendly and snooty.

I met James Gandolfini in Baton Rouge once. He was in town filming something (I think Kings Men).

Looks intimidating, but he was a super nice guy.

He talked a lot about his favorite restaurants and how interesting he thought Louisiana was. Apparently he had gone to a tailgate with some of the local movie people at an LSU game and he thought it was the coolest thing.

I haven't had too many run ins but three really friendly celebs were

Nic Cage has filmed several movies in Mobile. About as friendly and sociable as they come. We spoke for about ten minutes about his films, career, etc. There are hundreds of stories of him signing autographs, taking pictures and having small talk with folks all over Mobile.

Charles Barkley was also extremely nice before and after the BCS Championship game in Miami. We were both staying at the Loews and he was friendly and talkative to everyone he encountered

Roy Jones Junior was wearing his championship belt through the Washington DC airport when I was little. I got a picture with him and he let me wear it. Really cool

Isaac Hayes was cool as shite.

John Daley was fun to hang out with.

Justice Scalia was surprisingly witty and outgoing.

Archie is very nice. Peyton and Eli's security guys, not so much. They didn't want us to ride the elevator up to the sky boxes at Vaught Hemingway with them. Strange thing to do when major boosters are involved.

Jon Hamm's dog took a crap in my yard when I lived in LA, he lived in my neighborhood (although way up the hill).

He had a cardinals hat on so we struck up a convo. Super cool guy. Can't imagine a celeb being any cooler, wish it wouldn't have been 9am or I would have tried to get him to have a beer with me.

Haven't really met any lame arse ones to be honest. Not that come to mind.

Just can't really imagine being a tool if I was famous, I'd try to be as down to earth as possible knowing how lucky I am to be what I am.

Webb Simpson and Shaqtus were as cool as could be. Super
nice guys.

Bubba Watson is by far the biggest douche bag with any notoriety to fame.

Robert Duvall is every bit as nice and gentlemanly as you would imagine.

CSB Alert:

William Bennett (former Sec of Education and author of "The Book of Virtues") got stuck babysitting me one day and took my brother and I to the park. Cool guy.

Played pool with Shawn William Scott (Stiffler) and made great friends with one of the stunt guys and Ellen Degeneres' side kick on her show at the time.

Jessica Simpson complimented my outfit at the time too. Her friend Kacie was a BITCH tho.

Enjoyed drinks in Cali with James Blunt at my VIP table at the time. He was very nice.

No problem. I've got a stack of about 200. Considering DJ's reputation and the fact that everyone loves memorabilia, this has made me quite a few friends since moving to a new city. Will shoot you an email shortly
