Practice practice practice

Do your best to be like Keanu Reeves. Literally. He's actually a super badass with almost any firearm. YouTube it.

I'd have a big problem sleeping while the DA was getting ready to ring me up on charges, but maybe that's just me

I agree. You should walk through the 7th Ward tonight counting cash.

And while I'd love to dispatch some of these reckless thugs that are terrorizing my city before they hurt or kill someone, if I'm safe and my family is safe, it's probably not worth the hassle.

I personally don't think I'd emotionally/mentally struggle in the aftermath of a killing like that, but who knows, and I don't want someone's grandmama hunting for my umbrella policy.

Yea. The legal ramifications (even if justified self-defense) make shooting someone the worst outcome, aside from being killed yourself.

Sometimes it is not worth shooting them if you have the upper hand. The legal cost and all the bull that comes with it is not worth the valuables they take.

You should be able to walk through any section of the city you damn well please without getting robbed. Let's blame the ones doing the crime every time.

You should, but until the crime is cleaned up, it would behoove you to make good decisions too.

What is sadder:

The amount of times the perp has likely already been arrested?

Or

The weak arse sentence he would get if caught?

frick that. A statement like this is on the city, not the victim. This is a free damn country and law abiding citizens should have every right to go to whatever public place they want to, when they want to.

You do have the right. But ignoring reality is not usually a great course to staying alive or not getting victimized. It's usually wise to heed your environment and plan accordingly. It's no secret that New Orleans has a substantial population of people who have zero respect for other people's lives or dignity. That is the unfortunate reality.

No, but a guy i talk 2, while out on my route, his son was car jacked.

They saw him at QT, and he went in for a energy drink, and one of them got in his back seat and laid down. The other 3 followed him to his work place and thats where they forced him out.

All could of been avoided had he locked his shite up. When ur in North County, lock ur shite up, it's really that simple.

They have been car jacking around St.Louis like the dickens. Better than shooting people up, i guess

I was robbed once in a decent area back in college. It was only about 9:00.

I'm with you....never thought I'd be as calm as I was. It's also why I will never live anywhere that is >20% black.

It’s just that Nola is a poorly run, crime ridden shithole

So what I've learned on the OT is that just about every city in the South is a shithole. Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Mobile, Birmingham, Jackson, Memphis, etc are all shitholes.

I guess we'd all be better off living in small redneck towns.
