THey pretty much are. Just saying. Cities in the south that aren't shitholes?------DFW area, Austin, certain areas in Tampa, and Nashville.

If you're out late at night in Jackson, yeah, you're looking for trouble. If you're out late in Flowood or Madison? You have maybe five minutes at best before the cops come up on you.

This is fairly accurate, some more than others. It's not just Southern, you can add Detroit and Chicago to the list. Then ask yourself about the one common thread they all share. Well, more than one, although the elected "leadership" is directly related to the first commonality.

I generally agree, but those that brag about small towns and such and slam cities bother me for some reason.
Most of the small towns in La, MS, and AL are full of poor trash and there is no quality of life there. Sure the crime rate might be a little lower.

I love the city of Chicago and have spent time in south side.
South side is one of the worst areas of the country and is part of the city of Chicago

Because all the shittiness is segregated to one remote part of the city. Not to mention it actually has redeeming qualities (so does New Orleans).

Of course not, but you're not going back to kill him you're going back to investigate, maybe get better ID, location or direction he went, etc, and then when he suddenly turns toward you, you're shooting in self defense.
