Disappointed.

always enjoyed her on This Week with David Brinkley.

While I hated her politics, she was one of the old breed who maintained a sense of civility and decorum when disagreeing with others.

I had her an a political charter when we were taking a couple of planes loads of press and presidential candidates on the campaign trail years ago, don't know that I've heard her name much after that, had she been out of the game for a while?

RIP, btw

only thing I'd seen from here was op/eds. Maybe an appearance on NPR. But she hadn't been actively reporting for a while TMK.

She was diagnosed with breast cancer around 2000 and had cut back on her work after that.

ETA she gave the LSU spring commencement address in 2013

I enjoyed her on NPR. I always learned something from her segments.

She did part time segments, typically in the mornings, on NPR up until at least earlier this summer.

I know she was a hometown girl and I used to like her too, but let’s face it. She was just another DC media insider political hack. I hope she’s at peace and her loved ones are too.

Some real hot talent at that school in the 60's. Not Sophie Newcombe hot but pretty hot for the east coast.

She was a far better human being than Donald Trump. Deal with it.

Her mother is, to this day, the only white candidate ever to win a majority black congressional district.

I knew Lindy a lot better than Cokie. They were both obvious democrats, but Cokie was definitely a fair journalist, something that is completely lost in this world.

Her daddy was Hale Boggs who went missing with no trace after his plane disappeared over Alaska. Coincidentally (really) Bill Clinton dropped him off at the airport that day.
