Like many kids from the Deep South, I loved the Braves growing up, and I loved Bobby Cox. RIP.

He’s a legend for sure. Always liked the story about how he told Maddux to hit the next guy up and it was Canseco lol

I have a baseball with his autograph on it. Chipper Jones, Grissom, Raphael Belliard, Greg Maddox, Tom Glavin, Mark Lemke, and Mark Wholers are on the same ball. Sorry if I butchered their spelling.

My dad and I were going through some stuff in my old room literally last Sunday and we found a drawer with all my old Braves stuff. Signed baseball from when we went to the Astrodome to see them play in 1996. Pictures and plaques.
Man the memories. RIP Bobby.

Bobby Cox's Braves teams meant a lot to south Louisiana boys in the 90s. RIP to a man who looked 90 30 years ago.

I'm going to see if I can get ejected from a bar tonight in his honor.

Holds the record for most ejections.

I thought he was way older or possibly dead by now. Glad to know he was around for '21

Would have to be either a 1995 or 96 ball, as those were the only two seasons Grissom was in Atlanta.

My pappaw and mammaw lived in rural Arkansas and only had antenna for TV. He watched midSouth wrestling every Saturday at noon. He fought in 3 wars and retired 2 times. He always said simplicity was the key to life. He found this in watching wrestling.

When they would visit us we had cable and TBS THE SUPER STATION was his channel for WCW wrestling and Braves baseball. My dad bought them their own TV so he and mammaw could partake when they came down.

The good old days. I miss them and the old school TV programming.

It was when we were at a Braves/Dodgers game in Atlanta. Google is telling me that would have been 96
