So ouachita parish made a law just to ban this parade?

It certainly gives that appearance.

Did the parish forbid tractors, cotton pickers and cotton trailers?

Can someone please post pics of the parade from the last 8 or 10 years? The ones posted herein seem to be a tad “dated.”

I don't know anything about this other than what has been posted here thru the years. This being shutdown is 100% by some people who think they are above redneck culture and think it is embarrassing. The reason stated are just a excuse. It is bullshite, you ban it because of side by sides and lawnmowers? when every parade has tractors pulling some of the floats.

Blaine Kerns company in Nola should make 2 or 3 big redneck floats and donate them so this town can still have their parade

I hate what this country has become. Nothing fun is allowed thanks to Karen’s and ambulance chasing attorneys

It was ALL over the USA for ages.

Everybody loved the Shriners Parades across the USA because it had that local, hometown feel.

I am old and would disagree. Lord knows how many simple "local feel" parades I was in prior to the 1980's. It was Americana at its best. Like local wrasslin, and local demolition derby's. Young and old showed up for that stuff.
