Like I said already, there was another note where the jury was looking at the issue of passion, as in crime of passion

Based on the video, the taser was still hooked to the officee and he may have thought the perp still had the trigger. It's a reasonable conclusion.

Im still very lost on this. I saw the video and I was so very sure he would be locked up. How is shooting someone in the back who is runnig away acceptable. I honestly dont understand.
This is not Mike Brown, who was running toward the officer.. The guy ia literally running away(which is wrong, and he should have been areested and apprahended. Not shot) and got gunned down from behind. Is the new era of policing. Comply or Die... I do agree you should by all means comply when dealing with polic. But that just sets a scary precadent

It's not acceptable, but all it takes is one member of the jury to vote not guilty.

N. Charleston isn't about to go up in flames. More than likely any rioters will start with their own neighborhoods.

I live in N. Charleston. Much of it is their own neighborhoods. I still don't predict any problems.

no its not. Maybe it will get people to wake up to the fact that there is almost nothing a cop can't do and get away with it.

No. This one is a pretty big surprise.
Even people who are instantly suspicious of "the other side" in these cases (like myself) thought this one was open and shut.
I hope he gets re-tried.

if there is a mistrial, then the trial doesn't count and they can try him again
they WILL re-try this guy

DJ only applies on a not guilty verdict.
