I don't think the jury can decide between murder and manslaughter.
Oh, I think they all know the difference. You may have one guy who won't budge because he's racist and doesn't want to see a white cop go to jail for killing a black man. White cop will be killed in jail.

From what I've read it seems like murder is completely off the table, and there trying to convince one juror to go with manslaughter instead of not guilty.

I've watched stupidity while doing jury duty, but it's still the best there is.

Imagine having a jury of 4 TJGatards in the Jury. You can show them all the evidence there is, and the tards still won't find the accused guilty or acquit.

The fact that you can only equate politics in a L/R paradigm shows how dumb you are.

From CNN:

Earlier, one juror wrote to the judge that he cannot convict Slager in the death of Walter Scott and his mind cannot be changed.

if this isn't police misconduct, nothing is. If this guy gets off, we deserve whatever comes our way.

The prosecutor must have done a really crappy job proving beyond a reasonable doubt.

Or he's buddy buddy with local law enforcement police unions and intentionally sabotaged his own case.

There was no reason for this guy to run from the cop in the first place.

There's no reason to shoot him in the back. if he's fleeing from you, he's not a threat to you.

I remember this plain as day. That is murder regardless of what uniform he is wearing.

Tape proves it, & I've yet to hear a compelling argument how it isn't murder

From the notes in the link, it appears the jury has one juror who will not budge and it also appears the jury wanted info on "passion" which means they've been discussing manslaughter. So it's probably not about whether he's guilty but whether he's guilty of murder or manslaughter.

The link said the juror sent a note that something to the effect of I cannot convict the officer and I'm not changing my mind. That doesn't sound like someone trying to figure out if it murder or MS
