Restaurant prompts a minimum of 25% tip

Just ate at a restaurant that took your order by walking up and ordering on a iPad. When she flipped over the iPad for me to sign the auto tips were set to 25%, 30%, and 35%. All she did was take my order then some person runs it out to you, you aren’t being waited on. I would have to get up and get my own drinks. Has the tipping expectations just gotten out of control?

Yes there is always an other option, but damn that seems tacky to start that high on the auto options.

I hate the tipping system. Lived off of it for a decade but I wish it didn’t exist.

They do a trick like this at the fast food restaurants when they ask you," do you want that in medium or large", not telling you that you can also have small or regular.
