How does this relate to totals?

I'm a white guy in my late 30s and remember annual family reunions as a kid, but other than weddings, there have been no other official family reunions since the mid to late 90s.

I am white and don't think I've been to one since the late 70's or early 80's on my dad's side. My mother's side started having one in the late 90's or early 00's but it never really got off the ground and ended after 3 or 4 yrs.

There is a new father figure patriarch in town.

And it goes by the name of the uniparty Federal Government.

It wants to separate all families so we can all depend on it vs the dads.

With social media and smart phones, you're able to follow people's lives a lot more than you were able to 30 years ago. I guess some people think that these gatherings aren't necessary if they can talk to family regularly through various social media apps (I don't share this view).

I’m white and I remember going to family reunions with my mom in the 1980s. The average attendee was prehistoric even then.

There will never be another one because the remaining descendants all hate each others guts, for some very valid reasons tbh

Reunions started out smaller and more intimate. Then they grew into behemoths where nobody knows anyone so people quit going.

The white side of our family gets together at least every 2-3 years. I haven’t seen some of my black family members and n 5+ years.

I have a couple of quick questions for you.

Did you make it home alright?

Is your wife still mad at you, Ansel Adams?
