Funny seeing an STA “bomb squad” reference on TD. I’ve told this story countless times over the years. Knew a few of those knuckleheads myself. I’m sure I know the both of you as well. Went to Galvez and graduated from STA in ‘98 myself.

I’m pretty sure they could afford private schooling.
Ascension Parish has highest average household income in Louisiana.

That is so true. When someone answers the call, they should ask them to go ahead and pull the trigger to save some time. And if it is that automated computer voice from an unknown or distant number, that is another giveaway that it is false.
When a man robs a bank or restaurant does he call ahead to make sure they have money to take.
If someone really wanted to “bomb” the school why call it in ahead of time. It is not likely the school district will show up to pay the ransom.
