oh yeah? Would you like to speak to how people would “fake it” during the Victorian era?

This is a shortsighted take for those with a weak grasp on history. There is nothing new under the sun.

That’s mostly why I quit posting on Facebook. I got tired of running into people and hearing “wish I had your life” or “do you ever work?”
Its the same thing with fat fricks who say "he eats whatever he wants and is skinny"

No you fat tub of lard, I work out and eat healthy during the week and at home. This one meal you are seeing me eat is not how I eat every single meal

We have a 4 month old too, so too tough to leave overnight right now. But when he is older I'd like to do one trip a year with him, and then one trip a year without him if possible.

This is just a perpetually miserable person. She will always wonder what she's missing out on despite her choices.

Yet you read "Today's Parent"?

I bet that either your dick or your sperm aren't worth a shite to any woman.

Every parent feels that way. But every single friend I have that is single is for a reason that isn’t their own choosing as much as they like to pretend to be in control on that choice. Don’t become a parent before you’re 30. That lets you have a solid decade to do what you want. Don’t ever get married before 25. You will have regrets at some point. And while some can prove me wrong don’t marry the first girl you date in high school or college. It’s a sweet fairytale story sure but 20 years later you’ll regret a lot most likely.

I’ve got several kids now and I couldn’t imagine a life without them. My love for them is greater than any force this earth has seen. It’s like I went 30 years without knowing what real love is. I love my wife but it’s a different love than what I have for my kids. And you can’t even pretend to imagine what that feels like until that crying baby is in your arms the first time. People who don’t ever want kids are selfish. A lot of them change their mind in their 30s and that’s perfectly fine. I’ve got a friend who travels monthly to exotic places. But he doesn’t have a family to share that with. It’s empty experiences that will become faded memories one day. Every parent wishes for more free time or more money to do things with. But it’s a season in life and soon those kids will grow up.

You have to do things for yourself. Put yourself first sometimes. It’s ok. I take a trip each year without the wife and kids and it’s great. My wife and I take a few together as well. We always take the kids a few places too like Disney, the beach, mountains, whatever. Luckily we can afford that. Some can’t and that has to be a struggle.

I wouldn’t trade my life for anyone though. Some people think Anthony Bourdain had a cool life. You can’t see the pain through Instagram pictures.

When my kids were small, I wanted a break everynow and again but like a movie, dinner with my husband, nails done, something simple.

Never regretted having my kids at all ... and now that the oldest is out and gainfully employed after a BS and an MS, and #2 is a junior in college and moving out with friends, and #3 will be a senior in high school, well, I'd love for time to REALLLLLYYYY slow down.

Don't think I'm going to like an empty nest at all. Like there are times when I genuinely worry about it.

I’m in my 40’s, in shape, handsome, have kids and very little free time. I wouldn’t trade being a parent for anything in the world.

Social media didnt start alot of things, but it enhanced the hell out of alot of issues IMHO

Back in the day, you would be envious of maybe a neighbor or two who faked their life by buying cars and boats by getting up to their eyeballs in debt

Now, you can go online and see a 1000 people glaming up their lives with a few pictures and bullshite posts every single day
