Regarding the heat this September in Baton Rouge

People have been complaining about the temps. I am chief among them.
I just did some historical research. We have not had a single cold front in BR this September, and we WILL NOT before the end of the month. Hell, we had low 60s in early Sept last year.
I don't think we've EVER had to wait until October for the first cold front. Sometimes they come as early as August. I just looked back twenty years and I don't think we need to go any further than that (though I could be mistaken).
NORTH wind where are you?!?
THIS SUCKS.

It’s global climate change warming. Bill Nye told me about it. It’s from all the republicans.

It's because we left the Paris Climate Agreement.

Atlanta has been hot as hell as well. Feels like July

Kinda hacks me off that in a month an half we could see our first frost if things return to normal. Goddamnit I want to enjoy Fall before winter starts.

Yep...been hot as balls since last spring. I sure hope we get some cooler and dryer air before the 2:30 kick for the Florida game.

Our ancestors, for many of us, settled in Nova Scotia where the climate was similar to where they came from in France. Then the English kicked them out and they ended up here where the only things in common are water and fish.

No they don’t.
August is the hottest month.

It snowed twice this past winter so eat a bag of dicks and quit whining.

I’m certainly not qualified to determine the cause nor to even debate the cause but I do know it is hotter than in years before and I do believe we are experiencing climate change.

According to Jay Grimes (wafb meteorologist) this will be the first September ever that we never went below 70 degrees at any point in the month. He says outlook for it to happen next week isn’t likely and it will be a first.
That was on today’s broadcast.

You're in luck, just about every poster on this board is a climate scientist.

We haven’t had a nighttime low below 70 degrees since June 7th. And it looks like we won’t have one until at least October 3rd. Insane.

Mine apparently weren’t as smart as they came here directly prior to the Cajuns, and from alsace lorraine, and from southern France. Times must have been brutal.

It’s not that bad. Nothing wrong with a little sweat. Heat builds character.

Well it doesn’t take a scientist to experience it and notice it even though it might take one to explain it. But if you are middle aged or better you certainly have seen change.
The OT knows the cause though.

Late next week appears to be the target on the computer models. Expecting a low to come off the Rockies and jet across the Midwest. It would likely bring a cold front through here but you know, forecast for 10+ days from now isn't something to bank on.
