No they don’t.
August is the hottest month.

Are you one of those guys who is always right because you have your own version of truth?

Just because August is statistically the hottest month on average, doesn't mean that cold fronts don't occur during August. It's happened a few times within the last 10-12 years.
You need a class in logic.

We had a really strong summer cold front come through the first weekend in September in 2015. It made for an awesome Saturday in Starkville for LSU’s rescheduled opener.

At least temps are staying in the mid to upper 80s now but it would be nice for some drier air and cooler nights.

I’m just thankful that even with it being hot from April till now, it’s been wet. Consistent afternoon cloud cover and rain has helped to make it not so miserable.

Well it doesn’t take a scientist to experience it and notice it even though it might take one to explain it. But if you are middle aged or better you certainly have seen change.

Only because its going to rain if we get above like 87 for the next week or more.

I feel like we've been in this gets cloudy about 11 am and rains off and on for weeks. It's the summer pattern all the way but at least without the miserable hot high that builds over Texas in July/August.

With that typhoon eventually making the curve up toward Alaska by next week, might just end up with a gorgeous day when UGA rolls into town.

April was unusually cold.

But you can always build fire and shelters, wrap up to fight the cold.

Before AC you could only hope for breeze and cool down in the shade

No link. The WAFB weather guy said it a couple of weeks ago during his 10 PM weather segment. Don’t believe me? I don’t care....

You get acclimated to the heat after about 3 days with no AC...I know this from being in the Army and staying in the field for 2 weeks in the middle of August. You just have to stay hydrated. I don't know the stats, but I would imagine that there are more cold weather deaths, than heat related.

What really amazes me is we have this crap where it’s not even enjoyable to be outside and yet the temp will finally drop to the 50s and people will cry about it being too cold.

I get excited when it’s cold because of how long it’s hot in BR. The break from the heat for a couple months is great

I lived the summer of 08 and 09 in free student worker housing with no A/C. It wasn't that bad. They had some air conditioned bathrooms for the farm nearby so I cleaned the womens restroom really well since it was never used and slept in there.
