If you don’t love it , then I know you haven’t had it. At least I have actually had red beans and rice.

Onion rings from Rocky and Carlos' . A perfect shrimp po boy. A real Barq's. And then wheel me to Angelo Broccato's for deserts.

With some corn bread and some Crystal hot sauce? Yes sir!

Went to an even tonight catered by BB's, and was pleasantly surprised to find that they had Crystal (and Tabasco) at the end of the serving line.

Red Beans and Rice at one table, étouffée at another, and chicken and sausage gumbo on the last one. Got my white rice quota for the week.

Rest Red Beans and Rice I've ever had were at the Reserve Unit on Barksdale, circa, early 90s.

One of the most overrated meals on earth. A product of scarcity that has no place in a modern developed nation.

And also frick coffee with chicory.

When made correctly they it tastes really fricking good and has a great texture. It can have a rich flavor without being obnoxious or overpowering.

Neighbor slow cooks them all day and makes them with Conecuh and venison sausage.

The absolute best red beans I have ever eaten, by far.

Give that a try

Snow crab legs. Because I can eat them until the executioner gets tired of being there. Therefore, I live. None of the fixings. Just the crab legs. Fixings would make me tired, and then I’d be done fire. I’ll crack legs all day long.

Last meat material? I mean if you love them that much that's you. I eat them, but it sure as hell wouldn't be my last meal

Red beans and rice as
A last meal sounds like I should have been killed already, and thrown 6ft under while my family pissed on my casket before throwing dirt on top.

A meal originally meant for poor people, made up of two fillers would be your last meal?

Don’t get me wrong, I love it, but that’s not my last meal.

Definitely a steak.
