The data indicate otherwise, the daily growth rate of new cases has dropped steadily for the last 10 days. We started with new cases increasing 35-40% each day, today we are at 13%. Like any other virus, it is running it’s course, this is not a plague.

Mostly because every actual story on a study I have seen has displayed the exact opposite of completely busting this theory.

That has limited meaning when 99% of America has indoor temperature control. People arent being infected outside. Best hope is s solid treatment plan and a vaccine down the line. Seems like both have strong leads at this point thankfully

By that time people will have taken an "if it kills me, it kills me" approach and will be back doing what they did before this overreaction began.

Absolute worst case, eventually herd immunity kicks in because of our inability to prevent infection. More practically, the standard vaccine development process for similar viruses is followed, but on an expedited process, while doctors continue to learn how to combat the disease through trial and error; as the pool of infected comes down the first time, capacity for testing and treatment gets buffed up to help combat any second wave follow up.
Treatment and identification get better. The speed and size of outbreaks diminishes.

On Fox a doctor at the Tulane Medical Center said it has not slowed with the hot weather in New Orleans.

I've heard a lot of Docs on TV say this is the case. Certainly whatever the shite animal this came from had immunity so it must work for us also. Problem is a book I've read about these viruses says the virus has likely been in the natural host for millennia.
