Realistically, is there even an end in sight with no cure?

People who have quarantined for 14 days have been getting re-exposed as soon as they leave. People have to have food. Those that make and deliver the food may unknowingly have it. There is really no way to stop it when people go out because they still need food and medicine.

A lot of people were hanging on to the hope that the virus didn’t like warm weather. That’s been completely busted.

False. It's been proven that the virus doesn't live as long on surfaces in warm weather.

My attitude is devil may care. If it takes me out then so be it. I am finding life and people in the 21st century to be a pretty big pain in the arse. Sweet release

Couple weeks of 90 degree weather and it will wither away.

New Orleans has been one of the hardest hit areas and it's been 88 degrees out.

Flu season doesn't slow down most years until April

I don't know about that. I'm positive I saw a chart on one of briefings or other coverage today that showed a lot of the European countries having reached the plateau. I think it was on death.

With cases, I don't know how accurate the curve here is when they are dumping test results from up to two weeks ago (or even more). It's almost like looking at a star and the light you are seeing was from long ago. (totally different scale of course, but the lag factor makes it hard to say what the curve today is actually showing.
