You should take a concealed carry class. You have no idea what you’re talking about

What does concealed carry have to do with this conversation?

Was the cop’s life or safety in anyway threatened as this guy was running away?

It was the second the perp started wrestling with them then it continued when instead of just running away he attempts to shoot the officer too. He ends up dead.

And I honestly don't give a shite because once again this guy created this entire scenario by his actions. And that started with his first sip of alcohol that day.

They probably fired him because they were embarrassed two of their officers couldn’t subdue this guy and then one of them got disarmed by the drunk a-hole.

Should have used the choke hold

Here's the thing, molester. He was running away and shooting at the same time. It doesn't make a difference. the cop will not go to jail and he is going to make a boatload of money in a wrongful termination suit. That's a fact.

The cop obviously had firsthand knowledge that tasers aren’t deadly from moments before, so he knew his life wasn’t in jeopardy.

You obviously don't realize that if the suspect would have successfully tased him, he could have incapacitated him, got his real gun and shot him to death. The guy made an awful choice to try and tase the officer as he was running away.

You are the one that has no idea what you are talking about.

I graduated in the top 5% of my law school class, have taken and passed 2 bars and got the highest grade in my entire criminal law class

There are no “laws of engagement” in a non military setting. I’ll wait for you to find them and share them.

The law governing self defense determines whether a killing is justified.

If this was a white guy that was killed, all the Poli board trash here would have destroyed the officer involved.

Jeebus Kripes man
Most of us don’t give a rats arse when a cop shoots a deserving thug, black or white.
Have you always been a dumb arse or did you just wake up like that this morning?

Call me crazy but I assume one of the other cops that were with him may have had some ability to prevent that.

That’s exactly what happened. His partner shot him.

The other cop did prevent it by shooting the perp when he attempted to tase his partner.
