Still waiting for you to send me those “laws of engagement” that I missed somewhere in my legal career.

You obviously don't realize that if the suspect would have successfully tased him, he could have incapacitated him, got his real gun and shot him to death.
Call me crazy but I assume one of the other cops that were with him may have had some ability to prevent that.
Did you see how well the arrest went with both of them against him when he didn't have a weapon and they did?

This is the nuance that some people on here aren't getting. It's not that a taser is deadly; it's that if you are incapacitated and your duty weapon is now in play, that instantly elevates the threat to the potential for grievous bodily harm. Deadly force is authorized here.
I bullshite around on here and fire out some dumb arse shite for effect/troll purposes. But in my 14 years as a fed I've analyzed, investigated or studied almost 100 law enforcement shootings. This will be upheld as a good shoot.

Don’t matter. Black guy shot by cops. Black Lives Matter. Trumps fault.

The other cop did prevent it by shooting the perp when he attempted to tase his partner.
You just changed the argument to the point that your post is meaningless.

Apparently his boss, and his bosses boss, disagrees with your internet educated opinion on this.
The mayor did this purely on political reasons
No other justification
Called for their firing less than 24 hours later and reviewed zero facts
Talk about prejudice and racism
Mayor looked at nothing past the cops skin color and assumed

I seriously still don’t understand how grown adults that claim to be somewhat intelligent around here cant grasp this

I'm not saying that the cops aren't wrong in some of these cases but I'll also never understand why people want to make martyrs out of pieces of shite.
I was watching a video today of some black conservatives (Brandon Tatum, Jericho Green, Anthony Brian Logan, and two others on a recorded live chat) and they mentioned how the black community would celebrate and elevate those that got out of jail. They'de throw a party and get gifts while white folk had a name for whites who got out of jail by labeling them white trash and shun them.
Edit: Video

I didn’t change anything. I pointed out that your “someone else could have stopped the perp” nonsense is exactly what happened.
He was stopped by the partner of the cop who’s taser he stole, and fired.
Pretty simple, to be honest.

100% chance that that cop just hopes he doesn't go to jail.
Has zero reason to go to jail.
I hope someone sets up a gofundme for him to show him some support since he got fired.
He doesn't deserve to be fired. He put his life on the line to serve the public. He does not deserve any of this. By all accounts he comes off as a compassionate and considerate person too.
People act like they want to do this. Try walking in their shoes in these situations.

They are beyond ridiculous to criticize this.
It's common sense not to take a weapon, even a taser or baton, from an officer and then point to use it against him.
I am not even a comply or die type of person. I actually understand some people freak out and don't want to be arrested.. I even understand shoving an officer and trying to get away. I will never understand taking a weapon from them and then attempting to use it against them. That is straight up asking to be shot.
Posted on 6/14/20 at 10:19 pm to beauchristopher
Exactly, I would never try to touch nor grab an officer's weapon or even point anything that may look like a weapon at them. That's nearly a guaranteed death sentence.

Poli board just posted that the DA will bring murder charges this week on the cops.

Yet again, you changed my words to fit your argument. This time you included false quotes in a disingenuous attempt to strengthen yours.
If you are confident in your stance, stop making shite up in order to support it.

While I can't walk in their shoes, I certainly understand the difficulty of the job. 99% of the time I give the police understanding on the difficult, and under appreciated job they do. That does not make me blind to wrong.
With many on this board, everything is black or white. Interpret that as you may.

you downvote me for calling out your changing my words? What a pussy you are.
