After all that has happened the past 2 weeks, you actually think these cops wanted to shoot the guy? They had every right to arrest him, he resisted. They continue to use minimal force to restrain him, he keeps fighting. He starts throwing punches and elbows, the cops simply try to wrestle him. He gets away, the cops use a taser instead of a gun. He keeps trying to escape, takes a taser, attacks a police officer with it, and finally the cops shoot.

At what point is it his fault for making all the wrong decisions while the cops did everything right until the final part in a heated situation?

Basically you process 0.015/ hr so at peak he was just shy of 0.12.

like I said...he was somewhere between .108 and .150

The way he was delusional doesn't seem to jive with that level of intoxication.

that's why I believe he was on Xanax...he wasnt just drunk and high on weed...he seemed to be on some sort of narcotic.

I don't even think they were wrong on the final part.

It was all his fault and the final part was the correct action from the cops. They will get rich from the wrongful termination lawsuits.

Well Xanax would have kept him in a sedative state. He may have had something else in his system though.

If we get to. Don’t you think they are probably going to cook the books on the toxicology to ensure the narrative thrives?

He came to life awfully quick, though, when they attempted to cuff him. Xanax/alcohol would explain the passing out and behavior when questioned, but fighting like that may have been difficult.

I just finally watched the entire 43 minute bodycam video for good context.

The guy was indeed drunk out of his mind.

He thought he was at Burger King. He was at Wendy's.
He thought he was in Forest Park, he was in the city of Atlanta. About 20 minutes away.
The guy changed his story multiple times. He claimed his sister drove him, in her black car.. He was found in the white car in the driver seat.
Then he said he just decided to sleep off his drinks in Wendy's parking spot. The cop clearly woke him up in the drive thru and told him to pull forward.
The guy doesn't know whether he drunk a margarita or dacquiri.
He claimed he could walk home, that his hotel was right across the street. Yet the hotel was nowhere nearby.
He didn't know where he was, how he ended up there, what car was driven, who drove the car, what restaurant he was at, the city he was in, or the road he was on.

I do hate that he had to die, because he was being nice, compliant, and drunk the entire 40 minute video. But at the same time, he fought the cops, stole a taser, and fired back at the cops. I honestly don't know what else the cops were supposed to do in that situation. perhaps they could have just let him go and tried to pursue him. But a drunk guy armed with a taser is not someone I want wondering around freely

I flew into a rage often when abusing xanax. Sometimes strips you of all emotion except rage.

I just made the mistake of putting on WWL radio for a minute and I was pissed within two minutes.

Whatever nimrod is hosting right now just half assed the summary. Started the discussion off by saying another black victim was shot in the back by police. He said Rashard feel asleep in the car(nothing about being drunk or where he fell asleep). Barely mentioned the fighting part and noted that he stole the tazer, ran and pointed for a moment and then turned back and was running and got shot in the back.

Same guys for the Sterling family?

These men would not have a job if it were not for the 3 to 4 of these that happen a year. And even then they still have to fight Crump for that number one spot.

I usually keep ESPN or SEC Network on for background noise while working. Just today Finebaum of all people were discussing this incident (not sure what it has to do with SEC Sports), but he said that another unarmed black man was shot.

In the video I watched the suspect was armed with a taser and fired it at the officer.

lawyer seems like such a sleaze, dude is seeing the $$$ signs. As is the rest of the family really.

Reymond is one thing...but using this idiot as a martyr does more to hurt your cause then help it. He may not have deserved to die, but he took his life out of his own hands the moment he pulled that shite. The two aren't really comparable situations so trying to make them the same shows you lack any semblance of perspective.
