This may be the case that puts me over the edge. It's unfortunate that he died but it's 100 percent his own fault. The video should exonerate the cops fully but they're going to be charged to satisfy a mob. The timing of this crap couldn't be any worse. Were now being forced to accept an agenda where wanton criminality becomes martyrdom. Excusing a guy for being so piss drunk that he passed out in his car, depicting the fact that he stole a cop's taser and was prepared to use it on him as him being shot in the back while running away, ignoring his prolific criminal record and the conditions of him being released to begin with. If this had happened two years ago, no one other than the fringes would bat an eye. In a sane world we would make common sense reform and bad cops would be punished. But local governments aided by the media have let a mob hijack the discourse and we're going to pay the price.

The city needs to make an immediate rebuttal with actual facts. Letting a criminal's family outright lie while on camera all across the country is irresponsible on the media's part and on the city's part.
That mayor, if she even cared at all for her city, would immediately make a statement with facts. But that mayor chose political expediency over truth and justice as soon as she heard the news. She's an entirely useless waste of breath now. She failed on this one and the sane people of Atlants should demand she step down immediately.
