Not sure I'd let that number slow me down if I were in your shoes.

They obviously don't "love" it in the literal sense, as in actively seeking out bad relationships but there is some deep seeded shite that some knight in shining armor can't resolve by holding open doors and cuddling. If you think otherwise, you are naive.

Told me the song I was listening to (some hard rock) made her want to see me bleed.

If you were listening to "Welcome to the Jungle" you may have overreacted, she might have been just singing along.

Friend of mine in high school dated a girl for a year. About a month before prom, she dumped him. She went to the prom with another classmate, a notorious rebounder. My buddy went with the future Miss Louisiana. She was gorgeous. I say my buddy won.

Just had a girl I was dating for a month and a half break up with me over FaceTime (not a distance relationship) out of the blue because she “wasn’t feeling it anymore.” No other explanation given although she danced around trying to do so. Things were great outside of the two days before the break up as well. There was genuine chemistry there and she was (seemingly) every bit as into it as I was. Then out of nowhere I get that dropped on me.

Sounds like her ex came back in the picture. Just like politics, the incumbent always has an advantage.

Find you a pretty down to earth girl who has common interests and is kind and a sweetheart. Sounds sappy but well worth it.

I think that’s the dream.

Everything was going great until her mom walked in on us fricking. Mind you, we were only 16 at the time, so she kinda forced the breakup. Pretty unexpected

Would drive up to her house (lived in a small community about 30 minutes or so out) at the drop of a dime, would do all the little things right like open doors and such, never argued.

Just wild man. I think it makes it worse that I had no say in anything. Like literally my opinion meant nothing.

Seems like you may have come off as so non-assertive that she didn't think you had opinions.

My experience is that most women don't want men to be pushovers. And I would run away from any woman who did.

Not saying you're a pushover, just basing this response off of what I quoted above.

Reasonable. I’m usually pretty go with the flow but I put my foot down when I need to.

Yeah seriously. Take a few shots and then lay pipe. Nailing her mom would be epic.
