I dated a girl all throughout highschool. She was a year behind me. I decided to go to college closer to home in order to keep the relationship going. Went back home many weekends to see her. She graduates and decides she’s going to come to the same college as me. The day classes started, I get a message from her asking me to meet her in front of the student union. She proceeds to tell me that she doesn’t want to be in a relationship anymore and wants to enjoy being a freshman in college.
Couple days later a few of us go out to this shithole bar close to campus and there she is dancing with another dude. Can’t believe I wasted so much time with that dumb bitch

If a girl is too eager, does it put you off?
We’re all trying to get the best match possible, and I think girls want someone they feel is better than them. They’re also competitive.
I don’t show a lot of emotion, and one girl I knew told me it drove her insane. She wanted to figure out what I was thinking, what I was feeling.
It made her feel competitive.

Yeah, had a girl do what the one in OP did, except it was a 2+ year relationship and I was so confident that I purchased a ring days before.
