I pass him about 6 times a month. We call him my youngest daughter's long lost Uncle Charlie. I threaten to drop her off with him when we pass by. Pisses her off good.

i think he parked south of the highway construction project until it was completed, to save that extra 1/4 mile it would have cost him to go around the detour

Just a quick update. I saw Ramone today on my way back from Mizzou. He’s made it all the way to US 61 and I55 in Steele, Missouri. It’s looks like he’s got even more shite with him now.
The post above was 10/2022 and he was in Zachary. So basically he’s traveled 430 miles with that junk in the last year.

I'm going to have to make a detour next time I go to St Louis.
I think several jurisdictions have given him a "ride" to the next county north just to get him off of their stretch of the road.

He was rehabbing a knee injury that year he spent on US 61.

I am surprised Ramone has not built a rehab hospital out of kids wagons and tarps.

I'm driving up there in a few weeks. I might make a detour to see him.
I stopped and gave him bottled water or leftover food from sales calls a few times, he was always really nice and appreciative. He didn't seem like the Siegen Lane type of homeless dude.

Somebody has been giving him rides. Last post was Oct 2022 and he was outside of zarchary. In mid December 2022 I was headed to Arkansas and saw him near Fayette, MS.
