What a jewel… My buddy owns a dive bar in Shreveport. He already booked her after I sent him the videos.

Wait, Ralph & Kacoos existed somewhere else besides BR and my sweet memories?

She’s cute and sounds good, but no, not my old lady. I was just impressed and thought I’d share with y’all.

I didn't realize there were any others besides that one.

BR closed. Still open in Mobile, Bossier City and Lufkin as far as I know.

I live in Shreveport, so when I saw one was where I’m working of course I ate and checked it out. Didn’t expect to see this…

Wow! I thought Ralph and Kackoos was long gone. I remember my parents doing date nights there after leaving me with my grandparents when I was roughly 8 years old in the early 80s.

Nah, this is a way more chill spot.

Cajuns next to Superior’s Steakhouse.

I’ll drop the date once we solidify it.

I think Ralph and Kacoo, his name and her nickname, sold out years ago. All that remain open are independently owned. My folks met them a couple decades ago in Florida on the redneck riviera, Destin I think. Nice people that cashed out.

ETA: I don’t know if they are still alive or not. They would be in their 70’s or 80’s if I’m not mistaken.

I don't know how the one in Mobile stays open. Maybe it does good business on weekends. I go by it multiple times a week and it's always barren compared to Felix's and R and R. The Oyster House and Bluegill are always packed out too. It's got some stiff competition on the causeway.

Based on that pic, if she claimed to be Jay Leno's daughter I would believe her.
