Yeah for sure. It’s silly rampage even brought that up

i'm sure to try to establish that as a reason for the judge to go softer on sentencing.

He basically preconfessed to assault on that stream. The wrestler is planning it as part of the show and Raja got his revenge as he planned and announced it during the entire show.

He has got to be charged.

Theres also no law that having a concussion excuses crimes lol

I've had two, and the LAST thing you'd want to do is go out and do some physical activity that could impact your head at all. It's like if you had a migraine and decided to go train at boxing, it's the last thing you'd want in that moment.

I saw the video of the kick that supposedly caused his concussion days earlier, and if *that* gave him a serious concussion (minor concussions wouldn't have any effects days later) he doesn't need to be anywhere near MMA. It was a pretty held back kick, although maybe a little too hard for sparring.

I say all this to say that the "concussion" angle his dad is taking is completely disgusting and irrelevant. I doubt he even had a major concussion at all from that held back kick, maybe a very minor one at most. Besides, even having a major concussion doesn't induce one to completely black out and forget everything for days, or change your behavior for days. It just makes you feel sick and hazy like a real bad hangover

If he had a concussion he should not have been near that venue.

haven't seen video of the attack but are you sure it isn't....

Saw it this morning. It doesn't take too long to realize it wasn't a work. It was definitely real and not supposed to go down like that. 20 blows to the head on anyone from just about anyone is dangerous.

I wonder how many black guys are on death row right now because "someone disrespected them".

It being reported (assuming by his camp) that Raja suffered a concussion prior to that, received no treatment and doesn't recall the event.

So what they’ve done with this stupid statement is open their entire organization up to liability. You’re admitting to a known concussion, offering no treatment and then recklessly allowing him to participate in the event without informing the wrestling organization.. if the guy dies, not only does he go to jail, but now you’ve opened yourself up to all kinds of liability.

It’s not just that, the co-owner encouraged him to attack him basically. It’s on video in that Reddit thread

This is going to be a wild trial if it gets to that

Obviously if it was real mma he wouldn’t be charged. So where does wrestling fall? Especially since the owner encouraged it

This AJ mana guy that’s egging it on, what’s his charges /trial going to be?

I found the video (since OP didn’t post it). At some point, teeing off close-fisted on an unconscious man has to cross into attempted murder. Good Lord.

just saw a video where Stu seemed to sincerely apologize to Raja for the beer can incident before the match, both even shook hands

that seriously was some evil shite Raja pulled

Hope he gets absolutely destroyed in the courtroom

How would it be a “wild trial”? Nothing in the video after the slam was “wrestling”. He’s going to jail for a very long time. The aftermath video with Raja saying he wouldn’t be “disrespected” anymore and the pre assault video where he said he wouldn’t hold back are going to pin him.

And the promoter will be sued civilly. I think anything criminal is a stretch. Maybe if the guy is permanently disabled they’ll try to see if something sticks.
