This thread went about like you would expect on this board.

" I haven't had it in years"
"Fast food is beneath me"
"CFA is better"
"I may have eaten there twice"
"The pieces have gotten too small"
"Etc, etc, etc"

Meanwhile they're raking in billions and billions by serving a product people apparently love, Todd Graves gets even richer and returns money to the communities. People rag on Popeye's, too....and any place that is successful and popular. If you don't like Cane's or Popeye's, don't eat there. Simple.

Of course it is - I don't really know of anyone who thinks otherwise, but I ain't gonna lie, once a month I want some.

Exactly! As soon as a thread title with “Canes” appears, simpletons dive in to shlt on the wildly successful restaurant. The “it’s bland” people never ask for the free hot sauce packs nor do they realize it’s flavored to pair with the canes sauce. The “it’s expensive” people never compare it to every other food being more expensive. Etc etc. and before the “fat” people come at me, I’m there constantly for kids not myself. Tenders are staple food for the 5-25 ages.

Every time you go to Canes it’s an easy and pleasant experience. Millions go to this restaurant and enjoy it. They keep coming back because they find value. No one cares that all you want to do it throw negativity at it.

Yes, Bailey's wasn't on Chimes. It was where the CVS is on the corner of Lee and Highland. Right next to the Noah's Ark pet store.

Fatties often back up traffic into the street trying to get their 1200 calories fried chicken finger meal.

Cannot imagine getting in a drive thru line of 20 cars for fricking canes

I really think they’re going to end up overextending themselves like Copeland did with Popeyes and the church’s acquisition.

There’s just not going to be enough demand for tiny expensive chicken fingers once the novelty wears off.

never been the biggest fan of RC but I can't hate that they are successful

something about $12 for some chicken strips just irks me though, but that's all fast food so it gets treated the same.

Graves has scaled the company while retaining 90%+ ownership. Truly and incredible feat. Stick to the wrenches

Al needed the locations, thats why he did what he did.
Obviously, hindsight proved him wrong, but it wasn't a foolish strategy.

I don't see RC over-extending themselves any time soon, nor is the "novelty " going to wear off. McDonald's is still around.

RC is consistent, the stores are clean, and the product is priced market-correct.

Consistently mediocre imo. I just don't get it I guess.

I remember first trying it in Baton Rouge around 1995 or so. I thought it was good, but I never thought it was the best thing ever. Considering the food choices in Baton Rouge at the time, I considered it good/okay. I get a laugh when I see people lined up in their cars for the drive through.
