Whites and blacks pleasantly and patiently waiting in line for doughnuts - talking, joking and laughing.
It was a nice relief from the shitshow we are seeing on TV.

I was visiting black clients all week in Baker and Monticello and elsewhere. Brotherhood and good will prevailed as always. People generally WANT to like each other. But that 5% will frick up everything for those of us who actively engage each other.

You are seeing well orchestrated chaos from radical left wing groups with a more than happy to help liberal media.
These are not spontaneous community uprisings. Just like in BR a few years ago...the vast majority of those people were shipped in here to further their cause.

Wife and I walk the Lake Charles seawall everyday with our dogs. Yesterday was no different with any of the people we see out and randomly talk to. Everyone was friendly even with a scheduled protest here today. No tensions.

The Yankees up north may not realize it, but in a city like New Orleans it is impossible to go a day without interacting with someone of a different race. I can’t fathom how one could be racist, in the true sense of the word and not the “my white privilege means I’m racist” sense, and live in a southern city of any size.

Same for the Metairie location, line out clogging up Clearview. What am I missing here? There hasn’t been this kind of traffic for Krispy Kreme since they opened that location 18 years ago. They giving them away or something?
