Feel like I recall an OT post years ago saying RaceTrac has lower quality gas, or doesn't conform to industry minimums...idk. That ring a bell to anyone?

I like RaceTrac because of the bums and homeless people loitering around and begging for money.

That's what I was getting at with an earlier post. My understanding is that the Majors include additives at the station. Many of the smaller station chains do not do so.

Chevron - Techron, for example.

I remember several stories of RaceTrac having issues with water in the gas. I'll never buy gas from them.

Yep, when the RaceTrac on Old Hammond (in Baton Rouge) was first opened it too was a great place. Not so much now. Now on many of the pumps when you swipe your card nothing happens, there are like 4 layers of vomit next to each gas pump, and sketchy heroin addicts appear out of thin air asking for dollars. Often the gas pumps won't print out a paper receipt and when you go inside to get one there is always a line of people buying scratch offs. Circle K has better soft drinkcups, those bad boys will keep your drink cold for at least 3 hours.

This is a fact.

Also, the name “Kum and Go” makes me giggle every time I read it on the sign.

They are all about the same. Exxon stations may have gasoline made by Ergon or Marathon.

I second the Old Hammond location
Was approached by the hooker and pimp asking for cash for hotel stay

I mean, it's not Bucee's

When obama brought the ebola to American soil he proclaimed our health standards are the best and we a fully equipped to handle a pandemic. That ignorant frick has never been to the bathroom at the Racetrac in Chalmette. It used to be my go to pit stop on the way home from fishing. Id rather shite myself now. My morning “dumping” ground is the Chevron in Violet. Always clean and seems to be family run.

They are all exactly the same. I used to work on a clean product tanker chartered by Marathon. We offloaded to anybody that marathon could get to buy it. That gas and diesel would be sent to Exxon, chevron, shell, and any pipeline company that had capacity.

I have a new RaceTrac near me and for some reason they installed the worst pumps possible. They are slow and very glitchy. They will ask you questions like whether you have a rewards card or whether you want a receipt, but there is no yes/no option on the screen.

Swirl World by us has yet to start back up.

The new larger RaceTracs are the best gas station in LA... but that's not saying a lot.

You take your morning dump at a gas station?

Are you homeless?

Friendly pics of advice, If you or anyone else is ever traveling through Shreveport on I-20, Do NOT stop at the Racetrac on Hearne Ave & I-20, especially after sunset.
