Racetrac is Buc-ee's bitch.

But yeah, Swirl World is actually pretty legit.

You can’t really fit a Buc-Ee’s everywhere. Where you can’t Racetrack is a pretty decent place to stop.

RT used to have a solid breakfast sandwich and coffee. And you can get in and out of an RT at least as fast as a Starbucks or Panera.

When Bucee’s scales down and can fit on a suburban corner or intersection, we can talk about their convenience in comparison to RT.

Right now it’s no comparison.

Pretty much the only gas stations I'll stop at.

Not to mention QT slushes are the best thing ever during the summer. You can't beat that .89c thirst quencher.

And they have 42g Core Power two for $7.
Lots of snacks.
Ok food.
No long wait times.

But no way, no how, will I use their gasoline. Trash gas like that will hurt your truck over time. Same goes for Walmart and Costco gas.

I knew someone that got their car fricked up royally about a decade ago... somehow they got their gas and diesel mixed up. I think they ended up totalling out the car.

Yes, she's a blonde and I thought of that , but the nozzles don't fit if you try. She didn't make the mistake, somehow the tanks got filled wrong.

About a decade ago.

Costco is my go-to for fuel at home, but I definitely hit up Racetracks (and Buccees when applicable) when I’m on driving trips.

Which has unfortunately been used as a political weapon and wedge issue for over a year now. Like a police shooting basically.

Ah. Cross drops. Unfortunately I’m familiar with the legal implications of those. But that’s either on the rack where the tanker got filled or the driver for being a boner. We’ve dealt with cases like that for every major chain you can think. Happens pretty often actually.

Sheetz Brothers was the big, clean, and nicer gas station chain when I lived in Pittsburgh. They take their gas station food pretty seriously up there. Well, as seriously as Pennsylvania takes food anyways. They usually have a solid coffee bar, plenty of clean gas pumps, and sometimes a Telsa Supercharger.

The newer Racetracks are very similar to Sheetz but with fewer food options. They've gotten a lot cleaner and a lot nicer over the years. They used to suck.

Love's Travel Stops is another gas station chain that's done very well. The newer or renovated locations are very nice. The older ones are sketchy. The one in Port Allen was the only Arby's around and I'd avoid it. But they renovated it and it isn't so disgusting anymore.

what is funny, is that the racetrac in covington used to be ghetto back in the day. Now they built 2 new locations 2 miles from each other on hwy 190. I never stop in them bc I remember how trashy and ghetto they were in the 90' and early 2000s.
