I spent about 20 years in the restaurant industry but mostly part time. Never have seen anyone mess with people's food.

I worked in restaurant kitchens for three years as a senior in high school and the first two years of college. I NEVER saw anyone mess with people’s food. Never.

Only happened once that I know of. I was working at Bennigans on Bluebonnet when I was in college and one of my tables was so horrible I cried. A line cook with a teardrop tattoo on his face told me he was going to make their food “real special.” I told him not to and walked away.

fricking with someone's food is only going to happen once if it's me and I find out. That's akin to spitting in someone's face or kicking a dude in the nuts. Should never ever happen and when it does the consequences should be harsh.
