I will wear a mask if a place of business requires me to. The question I ask, and not one pro mask person can answer for me, if all those people in China walk around with mask all the time every day, then why did it spread to bad and fast over there?

Question for the anti-anti-mask group: When will you realize that mandatory masks will not prevent you or your loved ones from getting this virus and that the quicker you get everyone back in the same direction, the quicker this will be over with.

What are you talking about? The main premise of your argument is flawed from the beginning. You do realize that to not wear a mask takes actually no effort, right?

I'm really beginning to think this all this is some sort of chemical warfare attack on America. The attack wasn't the virus, it's whatever came after that is making everyone go bat shite (pun intended) fricking crazy.
When someone says, "I'm mandating the wearing of face covers when in public for safety" then like two or three sentences later says "we know that mask do not prevent the spread of the virus" and so few people question this?
This is really getting bizarre.

I wear a mask btw and many people I see out in Georgia do as well.
This board shouldn't be indicative of what you see in the media.
After all many of these spikes can be traced to the protests specifically... the questions I posed were fair game. I think it's a good thing cases are rising because this virus isn't going anywhere at all. And I bet you the case spike is from younger people. Has JBE or Broome shared the data behind the case spikes?

This. the only masks that are proven effective are N95 or better respirators. then leave them on all day and don't touch your face at all. All the other masks people are wearing is just to make them feel good. They are not doing anything.
If you understand the concept of aerosolized viral particles then the mask with the openings on the side or of light cloth don't stop anything. Picture the aerosol as a tractor trailer hitting you at 50 mph, not good. Now with an inferior mask on it's a pick up truck hitting you at 50 mph. Is that any better?

I choose not to wear a mask because i choose not to when i dont have to.
I dont think it SHOULD be required anywhere. I dont think the Government local or not should have that say so with the flip of a switch.
I DO believe that any private business has the right to mandate masks or not. Because they are a private business.
While i dont wear a mask where i dont have to. i do carry one with me and will wear it in private businesses if they require.
So my whole things just goes back to Government overreach. Just like they should be able to close down bars/other things with the snap of a finger. People should weigh their options and go/not go if they chose to.

Don’t come crying to us when all the “maskers” stay sick all year because their immune system has been sterilized. Believe it or not there are other things out there than COVID-19. Since these masks are essential for our survival won’t evolution help us grow one eventually??

Once I saw the stories coming out the past week that there was a massive spike in cases, but it had NOTHING to do with protests... the CDC, governers, press, and keyboard warriors lost any bit of fricks I had to give. IF they had ADMITTED that the protests probably contributed to it, i'd listen.
This thing is an absolute, 100% overplayed sham.

Please explain to me how wearing a mask on your chin helps anything?
Please explain to me how if one is wearing a mask over their face and collecting the virus (as it’s supposed to do) then they touch all over that mask (as they all do). Then take their then virus infected hands all over door handles, counters and everything else. Please explain how masks help in these situations. These are real world scenarios of how masks are worn by the untrained ignorant population.
