As God is my witness. No squatters are taking over any property I own. They would wish had never picked that house. Lot of good ole boys around to take care of the problem. Hard to call the police with your larynx crushed.

Tell you how you deal with it. Get one other decent sized buddy, walk in your own frickin house, grab them by one arm, grab the trash bag with the other, and throw them into the street.
And they go to the police and have me arrested for numerous felonies. You watch too many movies I think.

Does this actually happen here in Louisiana?
2 houses away from Broadmoor Jr. High. Baw would get legally thrown out, then move back in, starting the case all over.
Meanwhile he wrecked the house and all of the furniture and appliances.

Lol. Autocorrect knows.

How? They broke into my home with me being there. Self defense shooting if they don't leave. This is exactly how I'd handle it. They don't have a leg to stand on.
I'd never have to worry about that though. I don't live in a democratic shite hole.

How?
There are criminal statutes.
It's illegal to point a gun at someone and threaten to shoot them and make them do something. Could be considered aggravated kidnapping if not agg assault with a firearm.

Now you're up to possibly 2nd degree murder.

This goes even beyond state law, in Rankin County, MS, 5-0 would help you evict them and all judges, juries, DA, etc., would support you. Across the Pearl river in Jxn the opposite would be true.

Happens in rural areas too, especially where people have camps that are unoccupied for long periods of time.
Another thing that happens is illegal cutting of timber where land has an absentee owner

How often are squatters charged with breaking and entering and/or forgery after their bogus claims are proven false?
Posted on 3/31/24 at 2:37 pm to Robin Masters
Zip ties, roll of carpet, truck bed, long drive into the woods, they won’t press shite if they get back to civilization.

Legal advice: do not do this. You could be arrested on some serious felonies considered crimes of violence.
If I am away from my house for less than 30 days, I will consider anyone inside that was not invited a threat.

Happened to my great aunt in Mississippi. She (in her 80s) was tipped off to timber theft on her land. She has a timber cruiser estimate the value of what was stolen, invited the thief to her house, and presented him with a bill.

Bet your tune would change if they were the one with the gun. You're such slime.

I love how the media has “handymen” providing solutions to adverse possession problems. Idiocracy has arrived.

There is a guy in LA that is known as the squatter hunter. He essentially has the legal owner sign a lease with him. The guy then survails the house until he sees an oppourunity to get in. If he gets in without the other squatter in there he then changes the locks and let's the squatter have a choice of being "roomates" with the hunter or leave on their on volition. The dude charges from ~ $5k on up, but in a form of a donation.
Yep, I’ve read about these companies. Essentially squat on the squatters and make their lives unbearable until they leave. Expensive and there are risks involved, but I like the concept.

The thing with squatters are they will rely on fraud, and this requires a burden of proof to overcome.

It's like these homeowners have never seen the movie Rio Bravo.
