PSA: If you are going to ask a question directed to lawyers on the OT, if you don't tell them what state you are in, you will not get anything close to a usefule reply.
Now that that is out of the way, if you find someone squatting on your property, shoot them, break a window (inward you dumbass) and claim they startled you breaking in and you shot them.

Hire that "de-squatter" person. I'm surprised that some crazy homeowner didn't get caught shooting one of those squatters though. Maybe it's happened and no one caught them. Down in the bayou, you can just dump them to the gators.

Is there a process to get a warrant for someone in your house that shouldn’t be, if said person claims they have a lease?

Theoretically, but this likely will never make it past the responding LEO, let alone getting a detective involved who would write up the warrant. Also, even if they got the lease, the detective is in no way capable of properly assessing the validity of the lease. That is a civil determination for a judge.
Hence why cops (who are following the law) will tell you this is a civil matter.
Same thing when parents are having issues with a parent "kidnapping" a child when there is no custody order in place. "This is a civil matter" will be the LEO response.

Seems a relatively simple solution to this is having the landlord file a copy of the signed lease with whatever municipality they live in before the tenant moves in.
When the squatter goes to claim they live there it should be as easy as looking them up in the property GIS system or land parcel system.
