Was reading that Rome also fell due to lack of technological innovation and reliance on slaves. They had no competition, that why France and England progressed.. what do you think of this?

Ancient Rome fell because it was really old.

Rome fell due to poor leadership, which is a hallmark of a monarchy system. True “romans” weren’t being born fast enough to keep up with their empirical expansion.

I think you may need to find a different book.

How would technology counter their corruption or being stretched too thin across the globe? Their troops were spread all over, so when the enemy came down to fight, they didn't have much to slow them down. They also lacked unity, which hurt any chance of morale and patriotism to fight back.

Some say the dragons turned on their masters, but I think they mined too deep in their greed, and the 14 Flames erupted.

Or large meterorite.
Maybe.

This. And some bad timing of marauding groups cutting off the roman tax base right when a succession of poor leaders were in power. Without the money to pour into the army on the frontiers, the trade system lost its engine, the army crumbled and hungry bands of frontier people's entered the interior in search of riches, food, and safety from other more far flung destructive forces.

Rome fell because of over-extension of its resources, a ridiculous level of political corruption, and mass immigration. They are pretty much the archetype for a cosmopolitan, diverse society that has spent itself into oblivion.

Rome fell because they crucified Jesus and were smote down.

The same thing is currently happening to California.

There are many reasons to explain the fall of Rome. Most are actually true factors but who knows the ultimate reason why.

It's like asking 10 people for a crawfish boil recipe. You'll get 10 different versions and they all taste good.

Different time periods and hopefully you realize that the current territory of France, England and Spain were part of the Roman Empire.

China and India were never part of the Roman Empire. And while a large part of what became the Ottoman empire was once a part of the Roman Empire, that was much, much later.

I would suggest the History of Rome podcast by Mike Duncan.
