Damn god is slow then, I mean Jesus was crucified in the eastern empire and it chugged along for another 14 centuries

Actually it was an armed uprising after the romans decided to tell the starving goths they would give them food in exchange for selling their kids into slavery. So instead of doing what romans had done best for centuries, assimilate other cultures, they were dicks to the goths and paid the price

Interesting thing is Roman army was only 10,000 at Adrianople. A fraction of what their armies used to be. Shows how undisciplined and Un martial they had become.

There are many reasons to explain the fall of Rome. Most are actually true factors but who knows the ultimate reason why.
It's like asking 10 people for a crawfish boil recipe. You'll get 10 different versions and they all taste good.
This all may be true but it's pretty much common knowledge that Lead pipes and molestation brought Rome down. PTL

Because Valens was a glory hog and refused to wait for Gratian and his army to show up

Rome fell due to mass immigration. Not kidding.
Close. That was one factor. Reality is they made many of the same mistakes we are making now.
