We did land on the moon, but the footage is fake. We also landed on the moon far more than 6 times. In fact, we have a permanent presence there. The Space Force operates a large underground mining facility as well as a dry-docks of sorts for their fleet. The moon houses probably the largest population of Americans off planet of any of our interstellar colonies.

Because Nixon got nervous after Appollo 13 and killed it. Mars was actually supposed to follow the moon. Nixon panicked (you mean this is dangerous!) and went to plan B: the shuttle and low Earth orbit stuff. Every thing done for Appollo and the moon practically useless after that.

The very fact that you already categorize the people who are not government sheep as “moon landing hoaxers” shows how insecure you are.
Why can’t you have a 5th category of people who know the truth about it all?
Science is always open to new questions. The fact that you believe that this debate is 100% settled is as narrow minded as the climate change people are.
Just admit that you believe everything that the government spoon feeds you. Just admit you believe we landed on the moon, believe that JFK was one shooter, believe that Area 51 is just a nice beach for 4 wheelers and then go back in your bedroom and feel super safe.
As for the rest of us, who choose to use our minds to decide the truth behind issues- we will continue to ask the questions. Those same questions that make you and people like you (looking at you Buzz Aldrin) sooooo uncomfortable.
Again, ask yourself why this is so ludicrous to believe we faked the landing? It was easier to fake than to go there. It required less money.

They were talking about killing the Apollo program even before Apollo 11 flew to the moon. After its success, more and more people started tuning out.

I don't know... grandpa was chief engineer of the 3rd stage, the Saturn iv-b. They seemed pretty fricking ambitious in retrofitting the s iv-b into carrying up skylab... our first attempt at a manned space station. Seemed awfully risky to just leave baws stranded 80-90 miles up. Practically useless though

We found aliens there and that’s why we’ve never gone back. At least publically. NASA is just the space program that the world government wants us to see. It’s all a show for the masses. The real space program is highly classified and is actively patrolling our solar system and local deep space area keeping the aliens out.

There is really no need for a 5th category. Just because I respect your right to have an opinion, doesn't mean I need to leave open a category for your false interpretation of an authentic historical event.
There are debates out there, on controversial issues. This not one of them. In addition to the weak points that hoaxers believe, most of which are scientifically inaccurate and show a low comprehension of the physical universe (or otherwise just lame).. in addition to that, the Lunar Landings have been independently verified by other nations, some of which would have loved to embarrass the USA with any found "hoax evidence".
Climate Change is 100% fact. Man-made Climate Change is the only real debate, and comparing the facts KNOWN of the Lunar Landings with the data interpretations of Man-made climate change AGAIN shows your poor understanding of the physical world.
I do not believe all I hear from the government. I spent the 1980s and into ~2013 believing in a JFK conspiracy of at least a second shooter. I have looked into that issue more than the average assassination enthusiast and I have concluded in the last half-decade that Oswald acted alone; I am completely convinced of it. It has little to do with the government's story of it. There are ways to investigate, without the government's publications. Area 51 is obviously a secret government base, where classified equipment is held and tested. All other uses are pure speculation.
It IS LUDICROUS to believe the manned lunar landings were faked. You have NOT stumbled upon some fountain of knowledge that makes you smarter than all of us. You only think you have, and it makes you feel superior to us. But it is a completely false feeling. You fall into Category 1 (on my p. 1).
AND, based on a number of facts you are unaware of, it would have been HARDER TO FAKE the landings than to do them authentically.

Would you rather hear about the command / data handling test we were performing that day, for STS-135?
Or about the $4,500 Nikon camera we used, which was identical to the ones used on ISS and Shuttle? (but was not a flight-rated unit)
Or about the head of the Camera Lab who was documenting the test that day. He was every bit of an O-T "baw" incidentally, a genuine good ol' boy from Liberty, TX.
