Now that you mentioned it.
Although I've only seen Glass after 10 am so he's always pretty lubed up and extremely sociable.

Rummel in last and Curtis at 14! While I agree Rummel should be down the list, Curtis shouldn't be ahead of them.

John Curtis and St. Mary's higher than Holy Cross, St. Scholastica and Rummel is laughable.
Oh, now I see the problem with their methodology…
No student ever embellished their ACT score and no parent would ever overestimate a school's quality when paying more than $10,000/year.
Oh, now I see the problem with their methodology…
quote:
ranking schools, Niche said it examined academics, student diversity and responses to parent and student surveys. The firm graded almost 4,000 schools across the United States, and collected responses from nearly 17,000 students, alumni and parents -- an average of less than five per school.
Given this, its unsurprising that Niche's methodology largely relies on subjective data. To gauge schools' academic quality, for example, Niche examined ACT and SAT scores reported by its student users -- not by the testing agencies themselves -- as well as user-reported data on college admissions. It also relied on parent and student opinions about academic quality.
No student ever embellished their ACT score and no parent would ever overestimate a school's quality when paying more than $10,000/year.

Does Newman still have issues with sex trafficking ?

Not sure how Dunham is ahead of Catholic and St Joes. Episcopal makes sense, but Dunham doesn't. I guess college placement, national scholars, national awards, and test scores aren't their criteria

I don't have a dog in the Newman/Jesuit debate. The only thing I know is that my medical school class had numerous Jesuit students. I don't remember any from Newman. Just an anecdotal one year observation. Just saying.

In the end, they are both great schools. Trying to rank one above the other is pointless, imo.

St Paul's is numero uno in my heart. In the end, it's the only ranking that matters.

You saying Blue Jays are poor ?

"You saying Blue Jays are poor ?"
That's not what he said. There are some wealthy kids at Jesuit, but the vast majority are middle and upper middle class, the kind who can't get substantial financial aid but also can't easily shell out $240,000 for undergraduate. Newman has many more who are "full pay." So a decent to average student at Jesuit is more likely to take TOPS to LSU, whereas the same stat student at Newman will go full pay to a school like Sewanee.
