well, my point is that many Catholics in New Orleans considering private school don't even consider those schools listed above Jesuit.

Yeah whoever put Bethany #2 behind Episcopal is insane

I'm sure someone's "tithes and offerings" paid for that spot. They'd be #1 if you heathens would have just given the Lord more of your money.

Fact that student diversity/culture is a factor in this proves that it's a joke

What is the Jesuit equivalent for all girls' schools in NOLA? Sacred Heart? Or is it spread out with Dominican and Mt. Carmel since they aren't as large as Jesuit?

It seems that way in Houston with Strake Jesuit and St Agnes/Duchesne. Although I'd say St Johns and Kinkaid are the two best.

I'm guessing that Jesuit is the over glorified HS in NOLA as Catholic High is the over glorified HS in BR?

Jesuit is roughly the same size as the other Catholic high schools--about 250 +/- per grade level.

Anyone that sends their kids to catholic schools supports brainwashing and pedofascism IMO.

Jesuit backs it with hard numbers..and does it consistently--for over 150 years.

Nope. And I'm public school trash and I respect the hell out of what Jesuit does.

Catholic High and St. Joseph's don't necessarily make the best students, they just pick the smartest kids out of like 20 feeder schools.

It's like shooting fish in a barrel.

It's harder when you can't hand-pick the smartest 75 out of like 2,000 like they do.

No they dont. Do some people? Of course. Most Catholic grads will tell you it is a great school that allows one to exceed. There are other great schools in BR that do this as well. All the hatred that schools get, whether it be Newman, Catholic, Jesuit is usually spurn from jealousy
